So when you have stretchmarks forming on your baby belly you know that exfoliating, scratching anything like that will make then stretch more.
Combine that with salty sea water that dries out your skin i feel like im setting myself up for dissaster.
This year im spending xmas at the beach because it is Way too Hot and im scared im gonna make my stretchies worse by swimming in fine sandy salty water
Does anyone have any solutions??
my mum said wear a bikini and use vaseline.. then she sounded like as if it may not work.. then to plastic wrap my belly and cover it with a tight singlet. I feel like a singlet will create extra friction and the plastic wrap won't stay on for long.
Not a great big problem just wondering if anyone has any great ideas?
Re: how to prevent "extra" stretching caused by sandy sea water?
wtf? Please do some research. Rub some lotion on your belly if you don't want it to itch. But nothing is going to make them worse except growing more. We don't have tips against that seeing as it's the whole point of pregnancy.
I put coconut oil on them (even when I'm not at the beach) because it's a good moisturizer and I like the smell. I don't think it does anything to prevent them from forming or make them go away, but it may reduce the itching a bit.

2) Who is Jane?
3) What research says water dries them out? And wtf do you mean by "as you can see" what are you presenting for me to see?
4) Did you read any of the fucking responses that say dry skin has nothing to do with stretch marks seeing as they form in the deepest level of your skin? Clearly not.
5) If you're going to insult me, at least spell it correctly. I reported your TOU violation btw
6) I, also, have no clue in hell what your last sentence means
Please learn some grammar and spelling skills before using a form of communication that relies entirely on both. Thanks
Dude, your spazzing out over something that is really isn't that big of deal.
