  Tonight, after Christmas Mass, we will exchange Christmas jammies, read the story of Christmas as a family, then hang our stockings, put out milk and cookies for Santa and go to bed.
  
  Christmas morning we will get up and open our stockings and see what Santa brought, have breakfast, and play with our new toys until time to go see family.
  
  I cannot tell you how excited I am to have a family of my own this year.. After being told I never would I am going to soak in every.single.moment.. I think there will be a lot of happy tears today!

  We will be watching the Muppet Christmas Carol as well! Going to my brother in laws and tomm my parents and brother and SIL come over for breakfast then to MIL for dinner. Its a marathon.

  We do Christmas Eve dinner with my immediate family and my brothers wife's family, then tonight we'll set out cookies and carrots. Ds1 and I are baking the cookies todY. Christmas morning cinnamon rolls and opening presents then to my parents for brunch and gifts. Then off to visit the inlaws for a few days.

  I have so many Christmas light up - LO loves them and makes her "oooh" mouth when staring at them. I want to always have lots and lots of lights as part of our tradition.
  
  I also love watching parts of the 24 hour "A Christmas Story" marathon. Best movie ever!

  Christmas Eve we always have Christmas dinner/presents with my so's family and my mom. Also we open all the presents not from Santa on Christmas Eve because SD goes with her mom super early Christmas morning.
  
  Christmas Day we will have to start doing something in the next few years with LO. We always do Santa, but we usually just sit around the rest of the day once SD leaves.
  
  Anyone else have split families? What do yall do??

  My pumpkin is in my arms in her new Christmas Pjs, and we just hung her new ornament on the tree. I'm about to slip into the pjs my parents got me, and I'll hang my new ornament. When she gets older, we'll put out milk and cookies but for now, I'm just hoping to go to bed!

  Last night we put out milk and cookies for Santa. We took a picture so when LO is older, we can assure him Santa did not miss his first Christmas.
  
  Baked French Toast for breakfast will probably become tradition. Christmas Eve boxes too like some PP said.
  
  Also, I imagine we'll take LO to ZooLights and the Holiday CTA train in the weekends leading up to Christmas. In the city, Santa takes the CTA and he gets to everyone's apartment via fire escape and special magical gold key that we leave out.
