Tech says boy I think girl!!

Re: Tech says boy I think girl!!

  • People are mean aren't they? I think it's perfectly normal to be excited and pay for silly things especially with your first pregnancy... unless everyone just expects you to become an expert the second your pregnancy test comes up positive. Depending on certain methods the accuracy rate will vary not to mention the skill level of the technician. Not to discredit the u/s techs ability or your intuition it's best to wait until the 20 week mark. With that being said have you considered your reasons you think the tech is wrong? Is it because you want something else to be there or you just feel that way deep down inside. Certainly come to terms with the emotions either way. And best of luck!

  • I've said it before to a post like this. I totally get the excitement, but why rush through your pregnancy? It's a tad early to be guessing at the sex of your LO, but you'll be able to know with quite a bit of accuracy in no time at all (what the hell is a few more weeks?) You know what I'm thankful for this week? The fact that at 15 weeks, the baby can apparently move all of its joints and limbs at this stage (thanks, TheBump!). That's a huge accomplishment, and truly amazing progress for a growing baby. Every week has milestones, enjoy them cause this specific pregnancy only happens once. Smell the roses, mama.
PS. I second @8411mommy‌, but what the hell do I know. I can't read ultrasounds worth shit. Hahaha

  • Seriously, cool your jets! Could be either, don't drive yourself nuts over, well, nuts (or the lack of them) You'll find out soon enough, don't wish the weeks away. Just enjoy the anticipation!
  • I would wait till your 20weeks to find out the gender of your baby. It is a blurry picture but it also is hard to tell whether it might be a boy or a girl because it looks like it could be either. I've had friends find out as early as 13weeks and been told they were having a boy and found out later on that it was actually a girl and the other way around. Hope this helped
  • I think boy for sure
