Our dog Patton (a Blue Healer/Dachshund mix) is finally getting a hang of this baby thing. We can even tell him "go check on Audrey" and he'll go look for her. He likes to pop into her room during her naps and whine at her crib too. It's quite precious. :-) Here is a picture of him cuddling with her on the couch and our Christmas card photo for this year.

Our golden retriever Waldo loves to walk up and nose Rosalie when she's sleeping in her rock 'n play and wake her up. The past few days, he's started trying to bring her toys to play with. Mostly I think he's just confused about how someone so small can make so much noise.

Samantha (Boxer)and her baby (aka my son). She has become super protective of the house since he was born and has to be in the same room as him and be able to see him or she goes nuts! Our terrier on the other hand wants nothing to do with him, she was actually quite annoyed when DS was cuddling with Samantha.

Our cat is afraid of his own butt, so it took him a while to adjust to the unexpected noises of a baby. He happily coexists alongside DS without getting too close. I expect them to be thick as thieves once DS is able to offer pets and cuddles.

This is happening right now. On our way to my Mom's for Christmas and Duke has plenty of room but is choosing to snuggle up to the side of LO's car seat! Precious!
