TTGP IF WEEKLY CHECK IN
This check in is meant for anyone on TTGP who has hit the 1 year mark of TTC (6 months if you’re over 35), has an infertility diagnosis, or are going through IF testing/treatment. It is meant to be a place for people to share and ask any questions who might not participate on 3T or IF who would like the company of others going through the same experiences.
If you would like to participate, please send me a PRIVATE MESSAGE with your info and I will add you on, and please feel free to post your intro. This will be posted every Monday. If you have any suggestions or would like something added, please feel free to post.

QOTW: If you could have a super power what would it be and why do you want it?
Do you guys want to add treatment catorgories? Like Medicated TI, IUI, IVF, FTA, TTA, benched, natural etc? Let me know if you do and where you are at so I can make a list of those who currently participate in the thread!

TTGP January Siggy Challenge: Workout Fails
Today was my first day of lupron. I also had blood work done for the RI, some through Quest and some vials had to be sent to their lab. I also paid my cycle fees and turned in my consent. Now I just wait until my baseline a week from tomorrow.
QOTW: I would want telekinesis. Moving stuff with my mind would be so convenient.

September 2012: Start IF testing
DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA
October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos
November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues. Converted to freeze all due to lining issues. 2 blasts frozen on day 6!
January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues
April 2015: FET #2.1
PAIF/SAIF Welcome!
I'm triggering tonight and IUI #2 will be Wednesday morning just before we leave town for the holidays (thank you body!)
I've already texted my sister to tell her that SO and I will have doctor's orders sex at her house! Perhaps her supra fertility (2 kids both the first month TTC) will rub on me.
If I don't get the chance to come back here, I just want to wish you all happy holidays! This is a rough period for us struggling with IF, so I'll be thinking of you and wishing for 2015 as the year of the BFPs

AFM (sorry to post and run earlier, had a meeting). We are just WTO or waiting until the 30th. If we reach the 30th with no O, I will start Provera to bring on CD 1 and then we will start our first medicated cycle and Ti.

AFM: Had my baseline u/s and blood work this morning to see if we could continue with the 2nd round of femara. Can I just say that being 'wanded' while on my period=not fun. No cysts, hallelujah, so starting meds tonight.
We will be out of town staying w/ friends for cd12-16, so that should be interesting. DH already feels lots of pressure to perform during the FW, so I'm hoping we can make it work this cycle.
QOTW: Is there a superpower where you can change your hair color/style whenever you want? If so, I'll take that one.

First, hugs to you all (keep in mind in not really good at hugs).
Well, we are officially on cycle 20 TTC. I don't know why that number hurts so bad. Everything still looks good with me.
H had his blood test last week to test hormones. I'm pretty pissed off. I think I've told you all before that he has a legit needle phobia. I called to see what they could do for him. The RE suggested some Valium, a dark room, laying down for the blood draw, and soothing meditation music. H finally agreed that all that would work for him, so when I made the appointment, I made sure to mention all this to remind them. Then, the day before his appointment, I called again to check that all this could still be done and thank them for being so understanding and accommodating. I got home from work on the day of his test and he was really worked up. Apparently, they just called him back and put him in a regular chair and took blood. None of the calming things were done. He was so terrified that he didn't say anything. He was so traumatized.
Now, personally, I don't understand this fear. I don't mind needles too much. But for H, I know this is real. It breaks my heart that he went through all that.
Anyway, now we are just waiting for the results to see how we can move forward.
I would want to be invisible. So many sneaky things I could do!

Do you mean 3 months? I have heard it takes 3 months for any change to be seen
RE said she want to monitor after 3 weeks and then go from there.
