Hey Ladies, sorry I'm late (as usual).

First, hugs to you all (keep in mind in not really good at hugs).

Well, we are officially on cycle 20 TTC. I don't know why that number hurts so bad. Everything still looks good with me.

H had his blood test last week to test hormones. I'm pretty pissed off. I think I've told you all before that he has a legit needle phobia. I called to see what they could do for him. The RE suggested some Valium, a dark room, laying down for the blood draw, and soothing meditation music. H finally agreed that all that would work for him, so when I made the appointment, I made sure to mention all this to remind them. Then, the day before his appointment, I called again to check that all this could still be done and thank them for being so understanding and accommodating. I got home from work on the day of his test and he was really worked up. Apparently, they just called him back and put him in a regular chair and took blood. None of the calming things were done. He was so terrified that he didn't say anything. He was so traumatized.

Now, personally, I don't understand this fear. I don't mind needles too much. But for H, I know this is real. It breaks my heart that he went through all that.

Anyway, now we are just waiting for the results to see how we can move forward.

I would want to be invisible. So many sneaky things I could do!

Oh no @DaikokuJess‌! That is so horrible. I may not be afraid of needles but there are other things that terrify me and I couldn't imagine just being thrown into such situations without things promised. So sorry your H had to endure that!!! Glad it is done, but poor guy!

Update: Just got H's results. Low testosterone. Really low, they say. They want him to go on a very low dose of clomid for 3 weeks then back in for testing. If it doesn't work, it's on to a urologist.
I'm so sad, but glad that we've pinpointed a reason for infertility.

After several months, I went back to the RE this week. This cycle, I had 6 straight days of positive OPKs. While I scheduled the appointment pretty much to talk about that, we wound up talking about my husband. He had amazing numbers in his initial SA with this RE (a year ago), and for the first IUI with this RE. Also, his count was great with his initial SA with our first RE 2 years ago as well. For our last few IUI's, his counts were terrible. One of them even had to be cancelled. I'm pretty sure it was due to some medication that he had to go on for about 1 1/2 - 2 years. He isn't taking that particular medication anymore, and his libido is definitely reflecting it. My RE suggested doing another SA. If there isn't a drastic change, he has (again) suggested IVF. We're not opposed, but we would rather not have to finance something like that since I'm 41 and the chances we are able to conceive are still not stacked in our favor (though they are much, much better than they are now). Anyway...if his counts are substantially better, he says we could try another IUI.

That's all I got, except for the QOTW. If I had a superpower, it would be the power of super fertility. That's a superpower, right?

Do you mean 3 months? I have heard it takes 3 months for any change to be seen

RE said she want to monitor after 3 weeks and then go from there.
