Hey ladies! Looking for a carrier that will allow me to be hands free especially around the house. I'm a bit intimidated by those complicated wrap ones though I do like the idea of them better than the Ergo which we have already at home. Little man loves to be held close but as you all know that's impossible to do when you are trying to get stuff done. Thanks!
Re: Recommend your carrier
I have an Ergo too and I'm excited to use it for outdoors (walks, hikes etc.) but I wanted something softer for indoors and the Boba works great for that. I pretty much have been leaving it tied all day and just taking LO in and out as needed. I have two hands again!

I have a Moby and a Sash Mei Tai.
I prefer the Moby when going out because I can put it on beforehand and pop her in relatively quickly when we get there. I've had a lot of practice with DD2, but really it only takes a couple tries to get the hang of it. I do make sure neither of us in thick clothing so we don't overheat if we're inside. This morning she was in just a long sleeve onesie and we were both perfectly comfortable doing chores. For outside, a fleece coat one size too big and her hat has been more than enough to keep us comfortable.
She's still a little small for the Mei Tai, especially since she wants her legs out now. I have to cinch the bottom to make it narrow enough for her. And I also can't get her in or out without untying the straps and having them on the ground. Other than that I really like it.
I am thinking about getting a Lillebaby for when she's a little bigger. They seem like the same idea as the Ergobaby, but have a higher weight limit and (most of all) are cheaper.

The ergo is easier but he isn't quite tall enough to fit in there and look around while he's awake.

Quick to put on or off even in the parking lot. Minimal learning curve. MH even enjoys using it! LO is over 11lbs.
I let Noob dangle his legs and he is happy as can be.
we just used the Ergo for the first time last night when we went to see Santa as we don't have the newborn insert so we were waiting till she got bigger. It will be our go to carrier outside the house.
The mei tei I wasn't a fan of with DS till he was older as I felt like it spread his legs too far when he was younger so we will wait to use it with DD as well. It is good for back carrying when LO is older.
@rox825 google videos for k'tan newborn carry with legs out... Also if you put the seams in front not in back it gives you a bit extra room. My DD is in the 95th % for height so we very quickly outgrew the kangaroo position.
