Had my first struggle tying my shoes today. It was a blend of flexibility issues and getting winded. No joke. DH walked in on me and started cracking up.

Anyone else had some embarrassing firsts recently?

I pee a little when I cough or sneeze.
I threw up in a grocery store because I saw raw chicken.
I've stopped wearing shoes that need to be tied.
I cry in my cubicle frequently.
I may have lied to my husband and told him I can't be exposed to cleaning chemicals so he has to clean the bathroom. I just really don't want to clean the bathroom and he doesn't know any better. Not even sorry!

THIS. I would puke if I saw raw chicken too. I still love cooked chicken (beef is my only meat aversion) but I can't stand to see it raw. If my husband is cooking chicken, he has to shield it when I walk into the kitchen so I don't see it.

I struggled to paint my toenails a couple days ago and ended up making a huge mess on the carpet because I couldn't figure out how to comfortably bend over or to the side to do a proper job. DH stared in disbelief when he saw the mess. I cleaned it up though!

Does the snissing happen to only STM+ moms? It seems like a lot of people are doing it. I guess I'm just fortunate because I've never done that (although first baby was a c-section, but it doesn't matter if it can happen to people during pregnancy regardless of it being their first or fifth baby). Guess I got lucky with this one!

ETA I ask because I always assumed it had something to do with all the stretching down their during labor.

@junch817‌ I am on my second baby and have only peed my pants during pregnancy when my son kicked my bladder while 9 months pregnant and driving in traffic. Poor planning and an active baby. Haven't had any accidents other wise.

It didn't happen for me with my first pregnancy until later. It also went away shortly after delivery.
I'm having issues earlier this time around. I think the same hormones that relax your ligaments/joints/muscles play a role in relaxing the bladder muscles.

I've never snissed. Or coughed and pissed. Or any of the pissing accidents. And this is my second. Not everyone gets continence issues during or after pregnancy.

My bladder control wasn't that great after my first and I had little accidents for over a year, but after my second baby I didn't have any issues at all. Both vaginal deliveries, too. Weird.

I did find that the ither day I peed a tiny bit right before I realized I had to pee. My para-educator found it hysterical when I told her and I am still hesitant to mention it to my husband

I've officially had a full on breakdown in Walmart. I was buying last minute gifts and stocking stuffers for my husband and the teenaged kid ringing me through said "wow I wish MY Mom was this cool!" Thinking I was buying presents for my kids.. I'm 25 and a FTM and I was buying PS4 things and shot gun shells.. How old do you think I am to have kids old enough for this stuff?!

I puked in the Walmart parking lot last week...like head hanging out the door puking. Good thing my husband parked way out and I had a bottle of water with me to wash off the side of the truck. Last night I was in bed (I have a cold) and started coughing and puked again WTFBBQ!

@junch817I'm a FTM and I sniss. To be fair, I sneeze multiple times a day, and even before I was pregnant if I sneezed more than two or three times in a row, I had to pee after. Now, even on a first sneeze I sniss a little. I've been doing nightly kegels and I'm hoping that maybe helps.

@noeliavI never put the muscle relaxer hormones and snissing together, but, DUH! Thanks for the insight. That's a very interesting point to consider.

I cried in the middle of Stop and Shop because there was a little boy and his dad walking in front of me and the little boy was upset that they didn't give the salvation army bell ringer some money before walking in, even though the dad said they would give them money on the way out. I held it together as much as I could but lost it once I got inside.

Got called out for having my pants unbuttoned and held together with a hair tie. Normally my shirts cover everything but I had just lifted my 2yo up so my shirt snuck up.

I definitely huff and puff now while tying my shoes. I feel very fortunate that I am not snissing. I have a cold and have been sneezing really hard multiple times a day......but I have not snissed.
