Bassinette Bedding

My husband and I just set up out Basinette! We are super excited to meet our new little boy next month.
However, I am wondering what typically goes in the basinette to make it comfortable but safe for the baby? If any one has suggestions or links please share

I attached a pic of the basinette which just has a really firm mattress right now.

Our bassinet came with one fitted sheet. When that gets dirty we just use a pillow case and tuck in the corners. We got the idea from the hospital. They put the bassinet mattress inside the pillow case for the sheet.

We use one of the Babies R Us "plush sheet savers" we got for the crib in the bassinet. We tuck the corners under the mattress and replace it during the night if she spits up too much on it. We love this solution.
