Hey lady, thanks for the check in!

    Any updates from the week?
I was hoping to have some sort of update but my OB screwed up and set me up with a high risk Dr instead of an RE so I am on hold for another month, RE appointment is now set for Jan 21st.

What was the high/low of the week?
Low: The RE appointment screw up since I waited for 2 months for nothing! Also, MH and I had a long talk on our 13 hour road trip Friday night. There are some things that he's not wanting to move forward with if it comes down to it so the end of the road fear is bit more real to me right now.
    High: Hmmm...I am alive! :)

    Any TTA related frustrations?
Just the fact that every month we TTA is another month closer to the potential end of the road.

Anything that you're looking forward to this week?
I am on vacation starting at 4pm tomorrow and don't go back until Jan 6th \:D/

QOTW: what are you looking forward to eating this holiday season?
    ALL THE SWEETS...and alcohol :D

Big hugs ladies! I'm here if you need me anytime
We are here for you if you need us as well, @skategirl128>:D<

    EDIT- my format sucked.
I am not sure how to say this without getting a "solicitation" warning so I guess I just say that I am not longer active on THIS site.

  • Thanks for posting the check-in @skategirl128‌. Hope all is well with you. ((Hugs))

Any updates from the week? Not really. Just hanging out, procrastinating everything I need to get done for the holidays

What was the high/low of the week? High: DH and I had a really good weekend. It was really nice to spend some quality time together. Low: I'm effing sick. I'm on day 2 of a fever:/

Any TTA related frustrations? I ovulated this weekend. I feel stupid for being irritated by it. I'm so happy that my cycles seem to becoming regular again on my second cycle post D&C. But it stings to see that temp shift while TTA.

Anything that you're looking forward to this week? The holidays.

QOTW: what are you looking forward to eating this holiday season? I'll be making some cream cheese sugar cookies in the next couple of days, and those sound amazeballs :)

  • Hi Ladies!

Any updates from the week? AF came. I was surprised it came so soon.

What was the high/low of the week? High: My dad came to visit for the weekend. I actually really enjoyed his visit. We got drunk and played wii bowling. Low: My dog likely has lymphoma. I'm not ready to lose her yet, so it has been really tough.

Any TTA related frustrations? Yes!!! So AF came sooner than I thought. I was hoping she would take her good ole time. Now I'm in a place where my body and my mind aren't sync'd and that is frustrating.

Anything that you're looking forward to this week? I think this week is going to continue to be bad. We're taking the dog back to the vet to get one of her lymph nodes aspirated for further testing. I guess I'm looking forward to my therapy session?

QOTW: what are you looking forward to eating this holiday season? Wine. Not like that's anything different!

@elsiemae big hugs to you too! TTA can be hard! Those cookies you mentioned sound so good! Get better soon!

AFM I'm still waiting on results. More testing next week (two scopes). Bloodwork and more appointments at the hospital on Saturday. I'm off for two weeks though! Today I'm going to try to get my wrapping done :)

  • Any updates from the week?
Not really too many updates. I think I'm officially weaned from my antidepressant so that's a good thing. And emotionally I'm doing OK. We've been traveling a bunch and keeping busy.

What was the high/low of the week?
High- my brother, my sister, DH and me were driving some back roads and got a little lost. The road was in the middle of no where and there was no civilization for many many miles. The stars were absolutely beautiful.
Another high was when some ladies from my old bmb surprised me with the most precious Memorial ornaments for our tree. One was a precious moments ornament of an angel with a watering can "sending you a rainbow" and the other took Fenix's footprints and had a beautiful ornament made.

Low- last night I got a little emotional after watching The Woman In Black. Should have realized watching that movie was going to be difficult.

    Any TTA related frustrations?
Not at the moment. Still planning on getting off the pill in January and ttc in Feb.

Anything that you're looking forward to this week?
Going to an imax movie in a little.

QOTW: what are you looking forward to eating this holiday season?
My step mom makes some awesome sweet potato casserole

  • Thanks for th echeck in @skategirl128‌ . In surprising news, we are off the bench, so I hope this is my last post here. I had my planned surgery last week, but they couldn't find my fibroid (apparently a short time period of medication shrunk it!) so we are off the bench for a couple of cycles to hopefully get a BFP before it starts to grow back, Thank you for the support while I've been on the bench for the past 5 months!

  • Hi @skategirl128‌! I have been meaning to intro on this thread, but I always seem to miss it. As you all probably know, I just had a myomectomy to remove fibroids and I am on the bench for 3 months. Mind if I hang out with you?

    Any updates from the week?

I am just trying not to over do it on my medical leave. I don't sit still well. I think I did do a bit too much today because my pelvis hurts a bit. I am going to try to take it easy tomorrow.

What was the high/low of the week?

The high: I survied surgery! Yes, it was the likely outcome, but one can't help be paranoid. The low: I had surgery and am not quite myself just now.

    Any TTA related frustrations?

I can't even have sex right now. It is what it is, but it sucks.

Anything that you're looking forward to this week?

    Christmas! I love giving :)

QOTW: what are you looking forward to eating this holiday season?

Standing rib roast, eggnog, and maybe Ktlovess' "wife saver" Christmas morning breakfast (though I think I'm actually going to do hers on New Years instead). I am going to make an eggnog and cranberry breakfast bread pudding with bacon and scrambled eggs for Christmas morning.

  • Hello everyone! This will be my intro, although I've been stalking this little group for a while now. My name is Natalie, and the DH and I are TTA for another 2 months or so. After delivering our son, Tucker, still on August 23, 2014 at 22.5 weeks, we were told to wait 6 months before TTC. So we've been waiting. December 19th was his original due date, and since then I've felt more closure to it all. I can say that we are anxiously awaiting the 6 month mark so we can try again, even if it will be so much more nerve-wrecking than our first pregnancy. Any updates from the week? - My family was in town, partly to support us during Tuck's due date, and to celebrate Christmas early. We had a very full house of both family and love, for which we were thankful. What was the high/low of the week? - High: seeing family from Michigan! We live in Texas. Low: Tuck's due date and realizing it's been almost 4 months. Any TTA related frustrations? - DH and I are both 25, and we HATE condoms. I opted out of any prescriptive contraceptive out of a fear that I would become MORE emotional. I also feel like now that Tuck's due date has passed I am READY to try again. Knowing what's best and wanting to do it are two different things though. Anything that you're looking forward to this week? - Christmas with DH's family! Seeing all our precious nieces and nephews. QOTW: what are you looking forward to eating this holiday season? - I love these Brussels sprouts my MIL makes. They have bacon, cranberries, and pecans mixed in with the roasted sprouts. Yumm! I'm pretty sure I'm in the right place, but correct me if I'm wrong! I am a night shift nurse and also in school, so I may not respond super quickly to anything. I am looking forward to hearing from you ladies! Nat
I am so sorry for your loss *hug*

I did want to mention that if that is your real name you may want to change it because the internet can be a creepy, scary, place :(

Also, I don't think the way your name is, with the space, you can be tagged so if someone wants to alert you of a comment, they can't do so. I may be wrong with that though :)

As for being in the right place, you are if you're still TTA. What you can do is start lurking outside of this check in, get to know the board, do an intro, and prepare for when you are TTC again. Lots of wonderful ladies throughout this board and their support is amazing if needed!
I am not sure how to say this without getting a "solicitation" warning so I guess I just say that I am not longer active on THIS site.
