Twisting feeling in my belly?

Ok ladies...this is my first post here. I stop by occasionally to see what everyone is talking about but not on a regular basis so forgive me if this has already been asked. Occassionally I get this twisting feeling in my belly. It's a very strange feeling. Its not painful at all just strange. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it just a certain movement baby is doing that causes this?

    Not sure about a twisting feeling but if it feels tight it could be Braxton Hicks contractions.

    ETA I just googled it and some suggestions came up that it could just be round ligament pain.

    Is it high or low?  I tend to feel Braxton Hicks higher up and RLP lower down, both could be described as a twisting feeling to me.

    It's higher up. Close to my belly button. It's not painful at all. It's not worrisome just a strange feeling. And the fish swimming does describe it kind of well. I guess it's just my little girl moving around. I've been used to the kicks but this is kind of new.

    And I know it's not RLP. I know that feeling and it's definitely not that!

    I think I might know what you're talking about? Is it sort of like when you go over a big hill in your car and your stomach drops? Lighter than that but the same sort of feeling? From what I've read it's the baby rolling that gives that sensation, but who knows. I get it almost once a day, randomly.

    It's not really that either. But I have had that feeling and that's a doozy! The Fish swimming seems to describe it best. I don't think I've had braxton hicks yet and this only happens in one spot. From what I understand BH is your whole belly getting real tight right?

    @Swoon13‌ thank you so much! I figured it was her just moving around but it's different from what I'm used to feeling. Its a weird but reassuring feeling.

    My baby has been rolling so much and kicking my sides lately. It's strong and has scared me awake a couple of times. It almost tickles from the inside haha really strange feeling but I know it's her. I've never had those sensations in my belly before being pregnant.
