Runny Nose & GER?

Hey mommas! So DS has GER and was started on a med called Axid this past Tuesday (apparently Zantac w/o alcohol). It seems to have helped some, however I still notice him waking really snotty and with a runny nose. I don't necessarily think it's a cold because the runny nose seems to eventually get better. However I hate hearing the wheezing. Saline and suction doesn't seem to help.

My question, could this be related to the GER? He also gets frequent hiccups and red eyes.. Anyone else have this issue?

    My baby boy is taking Zantac. He still sounds snuffly and still gets hiccups. We have incorporated gripe water for the hiccups. It helps stop them. Unfortunately I dont think we are ever going to find a perfect solution and hopefully we can just make him less uncomfortable as his digestive system matures.
