Feel free to chime in, offer hugs, give your interpretation of a chart stalk and share your knowledge!
This
is a thread posted daily for any of us who need to get out our
frustrations about waiting to O, the 2WW, or vent about our cycles.
If you find yourself checking FF obsessively, MF is getting the best of you, or you just want to pee on all things, let it out here! In order for the conductors to be better able to help you, please make sure you either have a FF chart link in your sig, or make sure you post a link.
Don't chart? You should consider it, not only will it give you a lot more insight to your cycles, but conductors will be able to answer a lot of your questions just by looking at your chart!
To learn more about charting, check out the charting course that FF offers:https://www.fertilityfriend.com/courses/
The CT is not the place to post a BFP. If you have a "squinter" or if you have a line that appeared after the time frame, please do not post about it here. Take a step back from the board, test again with FMU, and good luck!

Explain your Crazy here:
Re: **** Weekend Crazy Train ****
CD/DPO: 16 days past D&C
Can I just ______ already?!: have sex!
@-)
Signs/Symptoms: getting back in the groove of BBT. I know my temps can be weird post d&c and I'm still spotting heavily/light flow. My temps have consistently been what they were normally post-o. Wondering if they will drop -> I will o -> then AF OR stay elevated -> have AF -> then o.
Explain your Crazy here: don't know why I'm so curious if I'm going to o before or after my first AF. I also hate waiting... I'm impatient. Not impatient to get pregnant again... I'm not ready for that, yet. But impatient for my body to act like it used to. I had such good cycles before getting KU. I really hope it returns that way.
Had my OB f/u yesterday and it went well. He told me I could get back to my normal lifestyle, no restrictions. He said to TTA 1-2 cycles but he said I don't need any type of BC. He knows I temp and and chart. He said to do things normally and if I "accidentally" get KU right away, he really doesn't see any problem. He said none of the research he's read indicates a higher risk of issues getting KU the first month after a situation like mine. He said avoiding was primarily for my mental health. I haven't seen a recommendation like that on this board except for CPs. But with an 8 week BO, still growing, requiring d&c? Interesting. I had bought condoms to use until I know I've O'd but now I really don't want to use them. I hate condoms.
Many ladies who have had a D&C are told to wait 3 cycles, If I were in your shoes I'd probably wait at least 2. A D&C scrapes the lining very very thin so giving your body time is probably not a bad idea.
I think we will be very careful and TTA like I first intended.
CD: I don't know...
Can I just_____already?: start my period so I can actually get on track with my cycle
Signs/symptoms: um my boobs hurt a bit?
Explain your crazy: i bought my thermometer yesterday. My SO thinks that everything except following my cycle is unnecessary. I temped this morning but I do know that I'm no where near my AF or O so it's just to create a habit right now. (I'm boring)
@mholmes92 Glad you decided to start practicing temping. I am still in the practicing phase.
@imnotfancy Ugh the patience it takes for the first AF to return. I hope the time passes quickly for you. (Hugs) for waiting until you are ready to try again.

As far as your SO, if he questions the need again, I would explain to him that every women's body is different; there is no standard. The more info you have about what is going on with your body the better.
Are you using FF to temp/chart? It has alot of GREAT info and easy tutorials to follow including a part on CM, etc. I strongly recommend it.

What does it all mean?!?
Edit: your not you
Once you've temped for few cycles you'll notice that your temps before you ovulate are lower. Mine are consistently somewhere in the 97.5, 97.6 range. When I ovulate my temp slowly rises to 97.7, 97.8 and sometimes 97.9 or higher. It helps you see where you are in your cycle because based on those temps FF will be able to establish an O date after you've had three high temps in a row otherwise called a sustained thermal shift.
Sometimes pregnancy can be suspected if your temp stays high toward the end of our cycle. For me personally, my temp starts to drop at 11dpo and by 13dpo it's usually back below my coverline which tells me that AF is about to visit. In my case, if I got to 15 or 16dpo and my temps were still high I'd be curious and test.
Having said that, temps are not really an indicator of pregnancy. Pretty looking charts don't always mean anything so as much as it's possible to suspect a pregnancy it's impossible to know until you test with a HPT at around 12 or 13 dpo.
I hope that helps clarify.

Yes! Ok that makes sense!
Charting is used to confirm O. If you approach it from that mindset then once you get your CHs, you can relax. You have already done everything possible because your window of opportunity has closed for that cycle. Just sit back and wait for 12 or 13 dpo to test.
