TTC After a Loss

AW: Done Testing!

edited December 2014 in TTC After a Loss
I finished my whirlwind week of RE testing today. Overall, though not perfect, it was what I expected. I already have a PCOS diagnosis, so the doc wanted to confirm that and see if there were any other problems.

Last Friday, I had my CD3 testing, with some extra PCOS related testing thrown in. I don't have all of the results, but the most notable thing that the doc emailed me about was that my insulin is high (indicative of insulin resistance/PCOS).

Monday, I had my ultrasound/SIS. My ute is shaped normally, and I have one ovary functioning normally and producing follicles. The other ovary is covered in about 9 cysts.

Wednesday, I SAW MY UTE! That needed to in all caps, because it just blows my mind. So my hysteroscopy was super short, and the doc said everything looked normal. DH also had his SA and exam.

Today, I did my Hysterosalpingography. I had to google how to spell that. The doc said that everything looked good. He said sometimes if there was a block, the procedure itself will resolve it, but they couldn't tell if that was case. Either way, both tubes are open now.

Our follow-up is scheduled for 1/7, so hopefully we'll come up with a good plan. I'm glad we're moving forward!

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I've been too hung over to function most of today. I haven't really gotten any details about what the doctor wants to do for treatment. It sounds like the biggest factor right now is weight loss, which I'm working on. He'll give us more details on the 7th on medicine/treatment.
