Christmas Dessert

Any suggestions of things I could make for dessert after Christmas dinner? If this is covered in the Holiday dinner thread, LMK. And then proceed to eff off and answer here.

    DH just discovered that he likes German chocolate cake so I am making one from scratch. We've been together for 10 years and he has always sworn that he hates it. He tried one the other day that was from scratch and was in love. Duh, DH, what could be bad about toasted coconut, butter and sugar?

     BFP on Cycle 17 09/27/12. EDD 06/04/12! Please Stick Baby! A/S 01/22/13 Baby looking great. Officially TEAM BLUE! Jack is getting a Baby Brother! RCS scheduled for 05/29/13. William Daryll born at 9:59am on 05/29/13. Left ovary and tube removed due to peach sized tumor found during RCS. Pathology came back benign!

    I might be your DH. I swear I hate it too, but I'm also not positive I've ever had it.

    I am going to try potato chip cookies. I tasted one the other day and they were REALLY good. Since we aren't hosting, I tend to bring an allergy safe dessert for Reese. Usually I bake gingerbread cookies but this year I have NO motivation to do anything to bake.

    I think a trifle is a good idea! My dad will like that, plus it will allow me to use my trifle bowl twice this year.

    Although cookie butter cheesecake sounds divine.

    Gosh all of these sound so good! We do martini glasses with fudge brownie, homemade peppermint ice cream and hot fudge sauce. Plus cookies, fudges, and other candies. Champagne, limoncello, etc
