my first appt

I went to the dr yesterday and should have been 8 wks and 1 day. The dr did the ultrasound and I only measured 6 weeks and 4 days. The dr said she thought she saw a flicker of a heartbeat. She wants me to come bck on Jan 7th to have another ultrasound to make sure the baby is growing. I'm so nervous I hope everything is ok. N it's horrible to wait over Christmas to see what's going on. I'm hoping and praying everything is ok. I'm asking that if any of u guys that are willing will plz pray for me. Thank u in advance from the bottom of my heart. Any advice or thoughts of anyone that has been thru this is truly appreciated.

I just went through that. I'm having twins and when we went for the first ultrasound only one had a heartbeat. I had to go back in 2-3 weeks to see I the other one developed and it did. Just keep your chin up and keep positive thoughts! And just think next year this time you'll have a little bundle!

You are probably just fine! I went in at 10 weeks but on the ultrasound I was only measuring 8 weeks. My Dr. said I probably ovulate late since I was certain about the last day of my last missed period. You probably are in the same boat! It totally sucks, but I would rather move back my due date now than when I am 8 months pregnant. Good luck!!

Thank u guys I'm thinking everything is ok I'm still feeling very preggo and no bleeding or anything. So that's Def a good thing. I'm thinking my dates may have been off I had an iud for 4.5 years so I'm thinking this may have messed me up. Fingers crossed and thank u for the good thoughts and prayers it means more than u know
