Pregnancy and Allergies

in 2nd Trimester
hello all, its winter and as usual my allergies are in full swing. Sadly I cant take what i normally do because it has a decongestiant. I feel like i spend all day blowing my nose and catching my breath since i cant breathe threw my nose, any suggestions??? It would just be nice to be able to sleep better at night :-(

    ...so why not switch to a pregnancy safe allergy medication? You have options.

    Neti-pot, Vicks vapo rub, Benedryl before bed and clean the house as best you can, including air filters etc.

    I'm sure there are other meds you could take but if you don't want to, try steaming it works for me and I can do it when needed!

    I take Zyrtec (or the store generic version) year round and it is just fine to take while pregnant. I take mine at night as it may cause drowsiness which I figure can't hurt since I am trying to sleep them anyway.
