Hi everyone. I have been following the board the last few weeks and commented once or twice. I was a little shy to introduce myself, but thought i should jump as i would like to participate more!
My partner and i have have been ttc for two years (for our first child) with an 8 month break in there as i had to fix another medical issue (not fertility related). We have been trying again since June when we started with injectable hormones and we added our first IUI round last cycle. Our treatments so far have been with the nearest fertility clinic (which is a 2 hr drive - we live very remotely), however, the medical care in the cities nearest to us is typically marginal. So i have an appointment scheduled in early January at a good fertility clinic at a well known university/hospital, (6 hrs away but near family and friends). We are looking forward to this appointment and getting good solid guidance we can trust. All our tests are fine - our hurdle is probably my age (41 - eek).
So that is our story. Looking forward to being part of the community!

TTC #1: 11/2012 - 9/2013; 6/2014 - present
Follistim + TI (3x): All BFNs
Follistim + IUI (1x): BFN
IVF #1: 17 retrieved,15 fertilized, Day 3: 15, Day 5/6: 3 biopsied
Result; 1 frozen blast (inconclusive PGS results)
IVF #2; ER: 6/22 16 retrieved, 6/25: 5 transferred (CP), 2 frozen
FET 9/17: BFN
Current FET -- Transferred 2 day-3 embryos - BFN

Nice that you are going to a well known clinic, sorry it's so far away. It's good you have family there
I hope it all works out for you and hope it happens quickly!
Sucks that you have to travel so far for good treatment but at least you get to be near family and friends for it.
