My fellow bumbies, simple question... What can I do or take to give me some energy? I'm so freaking tired, but I work two jobs, a hairdresser, Mary Kay consultant, and very active aunt of 12!!! Help Me!!!!
How are you sleeping? I've taken the occasional unisom for nausea, so I'd imagine that they'd be ok to help you get some good overnight rest. Otherwise, a ton of water, moderate exercise, and the occasional caffeine boost have helped me. (every few days).
also, I've definitely had days in which we do nothing but lounge/veg in which to recover from multiple days of busy activity.
I usually sleep from 12:30 am until 7:00am then nap for 30 mins sometime between 1 and 4. Red bull wouldnt be a good choice, would it?( I miss drinking those wonderful things)
I wouldn't do red bull...I would try to get to bed earlier if you can! I have been sleeping with a white noise app on my phone that seems to be helping. It sounds like your body is telling you that you need more rest.
Definitely try to get to bed earlier. Every hour of sleep before midnight is like 2 hours of sleep after midnight. (Wish I could remember where I read that ....)
Power naps. Honestly. So simple, but a life saver, without the crash you get after caffeine. I go out to my car, recline the seat, and take a 15-20 minute nap, then have a cup of ice water, and I make it through the rest of the day.
Sleep!!! Also, it seems like you're super busy, but working out really gives me energy. Also eating healthy helps me feel better. When I eat junk food, I feel super lethargic and slow....Good Luck!

I feel like you need more sleep. I try and go to bed by 9:30 pm and wake up at 6:30am. I allow myself to nap on my days off. Let all the little to-dos go. You'll feel much better.
What are you snacking on during the day? Healthy unprocessed snacks like veggies, nuts and fruit will help you to pull through. Processed carbs and refined sugar will make everything worse in the long run. Although I have to second everyone else and say that there really is no substitute for sleep.
I personally have been loving things on the tarter side in the afternoon like oranges and Granny Smith apples. Bananas are a go to anytime of the day. Also what they give runners at the end of a race. Also don't forget about avocado... Not sweet but a power house full of good fat
