Ds, 3.5, likes to talk to the baby even though I'm only 14 weeks so it cant really hear yet. I think it's cute so I don't discourage it. He seems to think that my belly button is the way to do it though which tickles. Any other stms have cute stories about how your older child is connecting to the baby?

A-dorable! My ds comes up behind me..hes 7....grabs my belly, gives it a little shake and says in his best baby talk voice "aww theres that little baby!!" Lol cracks me up every time

Toddlers can be so cute. DS is very excited for baby. Every day he yanks up my shirt (have to work on doing it over clothes!), lays his head on my belly and says "hi baby!" He also sings it the ABCs in the same position and gives lots of kisses. It is pretty adorable.

Love it! My 10 year old always asks when I'm eating something if the baby loves it. Most the time I answer "we shall see in an hour". She is always looking on Internet to see what s/he would look like now and how big. So cute!

I have a four DS. We were a little nervous about how he would react but he is totally excited. He talks about the baby getting bigger and he "cuddles" my belly all the time. He talks to the baby as well and always ask where it is.
