Late intro- expecting again after recent loss

hello all! Sorry for the late intro, but I've been waiting for a dating ultrasound before popping in here.
A short backstory: DH and I married in June 2011, we welcomed our first blessing DS in August 2013. We decided to start trying again around his 1st birthday, and conceived with a due date of May 2015. However, at our first ultrasound at 8 weeks, we found out we had a blighted ovum, and the baby basically never grew past cells splitting, although the placenta kept growing, so there were no warning signs. We were devastated, and decided to put off trying again until 2015. Welll, apparently that wasn't in the plans, because roughly a month after miscarrying, I tested because I hadn't gotten my period back, and bam! Pregnant! We are very happy but we were totally shocked! So, our first ultrasound today was a relief as baby is very healthy with a heartbeat of 179 bpm, measuring at 8w2d. We are due 07/28/15.
Okay, sorry, that wasn't short at all!!
