2nd Trimester

morning sickness sucks

I still have morning sickness. 16 weeks and I'm so nauseated all the time and run to the bathroom just off random smells! Pretty much the worst couldn't sleep last night much cuz felt so sick then eventually puked. I just want it to go away. It's so bad I don't breathe through my nose at work. Lol :((

Re: morning sickness sucks

  • I'm 15 weeks and just threw up again this morning. It's terrible. I've been dealing with this since 6 weeks and am so ready for it to end. I want to be able to enjoy the 2nd tri.

  • Thank you! I'm still new to this and just now saw the replies ! Anyways I'm doing mucj better now :)
  • Mines pretty much gone now.. hopefully yours is too? :)
  • hate to rain on your parade but I'm almost 32 weeks and I'm still throwing up! Doc said its OK as long as I'm not dehydrated. Def talk to doc about remedies. Also be prepared that in the 3rd tri it may start up again.  Our stomachs get squished and its hard to hold food in. Good Luck!

  • I am at 14 weeks and am still experiencing nausea and vomiting, although I think I *may* be improving a bit. Hopefully I feel a bit better as the pregnancy progresses.

I note that my doctor prescribed me diclectin (I think it goes by a different trade name in the US) and while it doesn't make the MS go away completely, it does take the edge off.

My sympathies to @schnitz9 - wow, 32 weeks and still vomiting? That's gotta be difficult.
  • Sorry I cannot relate, my Morning sickness stopped at 10 weeks, I was lucky. But I have a few good tips to help the symptoms. Ginger beer is a life saver; it was both for me and my sister. Also, make sure you eat AT LEAST every two hours. Not a big meal, but a snack and carbs are usually best. Milk also helps as well as sugar. I had morning sickness for 4 weeks and these tips really helped.
