Since I'm down to 2 people now who are impossible to shop for, and I hate making decisions.
My sister is pregnant with her second, between the two of us we have a ton of baby stuff so she really doesn't need basics.
Do I buy her an Amazon gift card for books or do I buy her a cute baby toy (she's asked for the gift card or baby stuff)?
I have a limit of $10, so I was thinking of buying a board book or a small crinkly toy or similar.
Help.
Re: Gift Help
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
So I made my brother and his family an Advent calendar like the one my brother and I had growing up. It's super cute, yadda, yadda. Anyway, I spent less than $10 to make it, so I kind of feel like I should send them something in addition to it. On the other hand, it is a fairly nice, handmade gift. Last year they sent us (and everyone) a photobook. Brother's wife let slip to my mom that she spent $50 on each book. Should I try to match that spending goal and send them books they will like, or will that look like I'm trying to top her photobook?
Here's a pretty inexpensive and also adorable idea to get someone with a kid...
I wrapped one up for my DH from my son from his alma mater.
The book is actually hysterical... it's set up like any board book: Like a picture of an apple with the caption "red." Except it has things like a picture of the mascot, school colors, etc.
Anyway, not sure if it's relevant, but it comes in a ton of school varieties
