TL:DR I'm Alex, I'm fun, I've had three losses and am a one tubed lady and recently decided to take a 6 month break
I'm Alex.I have been lurking here since my first mc in November of 2013. I feel like I know you all in a weird creepy internet kind of way.I have had two more losses since then and have finally decided it's time to intro. I am currently home recovering from surgery. I had undiagnosed ectopic pregnancy and my left tube burst, luckily I was at work, and I was able to be taken into surgery very quickly. So here I am 3 losses in, down a tube, and pretty much feeling like crap.
A little bit about me, we live in the midwest, I am RN and I work in L&D.
I love food and alcohol, snuggling with the pups and hubby, football and reading. I also am kind of a nerd and desperately wish I was sitting in a theatre watching the Hobbit battle of the five armies.
I have been with dh for 7 years married for 5, he is an attorney and we met when I worked on the ortho floor and he had a torn ACL with some BP management problems after surgery. He bugged me the whole night for my number, and then sent flowers to the floor everyday for a week. I moved in with him 2 months later. He is my best friend and I hate seeing him sad. I think the reason I finally decided to intro was that we just had a talk yesterday about taking a significant TTC break, we just need a mental break it has been a shitty 13 months. I got my first BFP in September 2013 went in for my 12 weeks appointment, baby was measuring 11 weeks and had significant nuchal fold and a very low heart rate, baby passed 2 days later I had a D&C the following day. We took a 3 month break. Next pregnancy March 2014, bleeding started at 8w. US showed 6w fetus. Took the pill had miscarriage at home. Most recent pregnancy I was 7 weeks, Had an US at 5w6d didn't see anything but I wasn't 100 percent sure of my dates, so we decided to wait a week, my appointment was the day after my rupture. So we are on a hiatus, for at least six months. I need some time to heal my body, heart and head. My OB gave me a referral to an RE so that will be our next step.
So I am happy to meet everyone, and sad that we all have to be here.
