Baby size different than websites claim

Hello all. I just had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks. Little Fella had a great strong heartbeat and  although tiny, was clearly there. My ultrasound techs said that he is currently the size of a gran of rice- much smaller than the Blueberry size that the Bump and most other pregnancy websites claim. They assured me that he/she is measuring right on track to be 7 weeks and 3 days.
Has anyone else encountered this? My doctor said that most site always had the baby being larger "food" than it really is.

    Thanks for the feedback! Makes sense that sites are in keeping with it being more "fun".
     Ultimately, it doesn't matter. As long as baby is healthy and on track, he could be a blueberry, grain of rice or sprinkle for all I care.

    Wait til the baby gets bigger. I have a few different apps and they get ridiculous after a while. One app says cucumber, another will say cantelope. I just wish they wouldn't bother with the food comparisons and just give measurements. But I guess it's fun :)
