So, how long do we give Ovidrill to leave our system?

Is it 10 days?  Today is 10 days after my shot (Monday 12/8).  I have a faint faint faint +.  I also had a faint faint faint positive on Tuesday (12/16).

My IUI was Weds (12/10).

still waiting before thinking anything but I was just curious.

    Unfortunately no clear answer. It's all over the  map depending on dosage and metabolism. Some seem to have it out really quickly, others it takes 10-14 days. I've also found for me, it varies every cycle. Just keep testing to see if it gets darker.

    8DPIUI seems ridiculously early to have a legit +, I would definitely think anything at that point was trigger related. I would wait a couple more days (at least 2 more days) and see what that result is. FWIW my triggers take forever to fully leave my system at least 12-13 days, but like sailor mentioned, everyone is different.

    IVF #2.1 March 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.

    BFP #6  (SUPRISE!) 3/19/15.  EDD 11/30/15...  CP at 4w2d.
    IUI #2:    Clomid + Follistim = 3 follies. BFN.
    IVF #2.2 May 2015 - horrible response to micro lupron flare protocol: 3R, 3M, 3F. 3dt of 2 Grade 3 embies. BFFN. 

    BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).

    wow 14 days!!  if that's the case then I would be at the lab for my beta by then.

    I got a real + at 8dpIUI with my twins.  But, am hoping for just 1 this time!

    Usually my trigger is out by 10 days past.  I think the rule of thumb is one day for every 1,000 units of HCG, but like everyone above says, it varies.  Mine seems to be sticking around longer than usual this time.

    My trigger has been out by 6 dpiui the three times I have done one.  Keep testing and hopefully it will get darker!
