now I'm nervous

I got a call from our Dr this morning and they said our baby is measuring in a low percentile so they wanted us to see a specialist. All the other parts of the tests like genetics and downs came back negative he's just small. I'm freaking about it because we are creeping up on 19 weeks, which is when we lost our twin sons. I'm already anxious about hitting that mark and this definitely doesn't help settle me down. So if you can please keep our little family in your thoughts I'd really appreciate it!

The time will go by much quicker with the holidays thrown in there. Fingers crossed that everything looks good and that your little one has a nice growth spurt in the next few weeks!

The bright side is they're taking early precautions! But I am very sorry you have this additional stressor to deal with. I'm sure this time of your pregnancy is already fraught with anxiety and this can't help. Thinking all the best thoughts for you that your little bean just hasn't hit that growth spurt yet.

I'm sorry you are going through this. My baby was measuring small throughout my entire first pregnancy. They were concerned and kept calling him "little peanut" and that they didn't think he would be 6 pounds when he was born. He came right around his due date at 7lbs 4oz. I would say that's damn near perfect. Fingers crossed for you that they are just being cautious and everything is just fine. Hang in there!

Thinking of you and your family! Hopefully you can take some reassurance from all your good tests so far. I totally understand your anxiety, but try to think of a visit to a specialist as just another way that you are providing your baby the absolute best possible care as a precaution, even if the little one is doing just fine.
