Shopkick is funny

I can tell I'm in Louisiana because it wants me to scan alcohol at Walmart. I had an early chuckle.

Is anyone else still kicking?

    I'm a lurker turning into a participator.  I kick and it wants me to scan all the booze all the time! Kroger, CVS, Target.

    No, in PA booze isn't sold at target or walmart or Walgreen's etc. We have to go to the "state store." Some grocery stores now sell beer and wine coolers. that's it. @nunzchucks

    Louisiana has drive thru liquor stores and daiquiri shops.

    Ohio has drive through liquor stores too. I live in Kentucky now and if a grocery store wants to sell wine or liquor you have to have a separate entrance just for the liquor part. It sucks.

    Shopkick wanted me to scan Pampers at Costco, but ours only had Huggies or Kirkland.

    Yea, me too. I should have tried it at Target under the costco part. I will next time.

    First time I had ever been to a drive through convience store was in Cincinnati. So strange! lol

    PS - you can buy beer/wine most places in VT. Liquor is regulated by the state and needs to be bought at certain places though

    I found this out after walking around Winn Dixie in MA for 20 minutes. When I finally asked someone what aisle the beer was on I got the "oh, you're not from here" look

    I don't know what the guideline is for liquor licenses here, but you have to be a certain distance away from other stores selling beer/hard liquor. I can scan wine at Target, but not Absolut and Kahlua.
