We have gotten to the point that he wiggles so much that he almost spins around 180 degrees. He will be 12 weeks tomorrow and is slowly getting better but he normally cries super hard and then snots everywhere. It is a truly pathetic sight.
SS because some days he likes it and will happily sit up on his Boppy and "chat" with me, but other days, he sees the Boppy and gets mad. We do a lot of tummy time on our chests, and if he's awake, he's often held on our shoulders or sitting on a lap such that there isn't any pressure on his head.
She hates tummy time so much. Refuses to lift her head off the mat. But when I try to burp her, she becomes Miss Independent and wants to hold and move her own head

This is us exactly. If I can get a minute in before the screaming starts its amazing. But when I hold her upright she wants to hold her head away from me and look around. So we do a lot of that instead. I still try to do it on the floor so that she begins to develop arm muscles to push herself up, but it's miserable for all parties!
Depends on where she is.... if she is laying on H or I she is great! on the floor - she tolerates maybe 5 minutes or a little more before falling asleep or crying.
I told the doc today I'm worried lo is behind on tummy time... He said "ehh he will be fine... Tummy time is over rated". Lol!... What?! He's been a pediatrician for Something like 30 plus years .. No exaggeration. Just surprised me a little. I didn't know whether to be irritated or reconsider that ftm's can worry over issues that tend to work themselves out with time. Who knows. I'm sure I will continue to worry regardless.
She likes it for a few minutes then gets mad. She's always had good head control and she's definitely gotten good at lifting herself up but tummy time just frustrates her. She refuses to put her head down at all so I think it really wears her out.
Loves it on someone's stomach/shoulder, boppy, and loves it on his activity pad or PB extremely soft play mat when he's in a good mood and I use my hands to cushion face plants. He doesn't do tummy time on the floor for extended periods of time because he will keep his head up almost the entire time (though always turned to the right, and the world ends when we rotate it to the left), so we do it often for short amounts of time (5-10min). He also needs to be watched carefully because he rolls if he shifts his weight too much, and I'm paranoid about him hurting his head if he falls wrong.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
DS doesn't like it much at all. He has excellent head control so I don't push the issue. Of course he also has a weird shaped head so there you go. He has to see a specialist next month.
