Can I return opened makeup?

Ugh, I got the wrong kind of makeup, but I already opened it and tried it (I was feeling hopeful.) I got it from Target. Do you think they would let me return it??

Lol, when I worked retail, we would just mark out stuff like that. Not put it back on the shelves.... Yeah, that would be gross.?
