I've read that it's not, but I forget why. Did you try a quick google search?

I did, and it gives my mixed reviews, they say the in salon spray tan is bad because of the fumes, but I just want to use a cream. The product I usually use is sugar based and basicly just stains the skin
Oh, FWIW, I also read that tanning in the actual sun isn't the best when pregnant because it causes blotchy hyper-pigmentation that can be permanent.

Hmmm, now I'm curious, too. (I miss my tan, too) Seems safe; you could always run it by your doctor? Let us know!

https://www.selftanning.com/at-home-self-tanner/ Here's a few recipes for safe DIY self tanner. The only problem is that they aren't waterproof. I haven't tried any of these myself, but it may be worth a shot!
My first pregnancy, they didn't want me using a self tanning cream because of ingredients that could leech into the skin and be absorbed by the fetus. I haven't asked my doctor this pregnancy or mentioned/researched any organic options but I will if I plan on using anything.
I read about this a lot during my last pregnancy, and there appears to be some concern over the main ingredient used to temporarily color the skin, dihydroxyacetone (DHA). When the chemical was approved for use on the body, it was not approved for use in an aerosol form. I would ask your doctor, and stick to lotions if anything.
Thanks for the replies! I'm seeing my doctor on the 29th, I'll ask her then. I always feel bad to bother them with small things like this. I'll check if this brand has that ingredient in
Tanning typically isn't healthy on a non-pregnant body I can't imagine it being safe when pregnant. I understand wanting to look tan (and how much it makes us look great) but IMO not worth any risk to your little peanut.
