Weight Watchers Postpartum

Anyone doing it? How's it going? I hear if you're breastfeeding they give you so many points that it doesn't seem like it's working?

I did WW before and had good success. Thinking of doing weight watchers again but might just count calories...thoughts if you're on the program? Also didn't have a smartphone before so I'm intrigued to use the app for points.

Re: Weight Watchers Postpartum

  • I did it when not pregnant and lost 20 lbs and I had a friend who did it after pregnancy and lost a bunch of weight as well. But if you are looking to lose weight and save money and are just looking to count calories you may want to consider myfitnesspal.com they have an app for your phone as well and it is free. It works similar to the weight watchers app. I have lost my baby weight using this because I was trying to not spend the money.

  • It helped me because if I saw what I was eating written down it made me more conscious of my decisions. I try and be really good all day so I can have something yummy at the end of the day.

Thanks, that's a well organized site. Still hard to write stuff down either WW or that! I did meetings before which made me feel more accountable.

  • I did it but started having supply issues so stopped.  Since then I have been eating whatever and still losing weight.  Thank you BM.
That's a concern of mine too...starting a diet and soon to be starting solids for her. Might tank my supply. :-/

I have 10 lbs still till pre pregnancy and another 20 after that would be a much nicer weight. The 10 lbs have stayed exactly the same since about 3 weeks PP.
