Tell me pretty stories about so-so embryos

I'm sure you ladies get this a lot so apologies in advance, but planning a natural cycle FET in January, we have two frosties, a 1BB and a 3CD, both 6 days old. Did anyone have success with so-so or poor quality blasts? 

Here's some treats!

    I don't have success to talk about, but I have a bb blast of some sort, and 2 BCs on ice. I think the BBs are actually considered "good". My other ones are "fair". I know people in real life who have become pregnsnt from good and fair embryos. It does happen!

    IVF #1 ET 1 d3 embryo 10/30/11 BFP
    3 Embryos frozen (1 d5, 2 d6)

    DS born 07/29/12

    FET #1 ET 1 d5 embryo 02/10/15 BFN

    FET #2 1 d6 embryo didn't survive thaw, transferred last d6. CP :(

    My clinic only freezes AA and AB blasts, so I don't have any FET experience (which I HATE because I had a dozen lower grade blasts between my cycles and they didn't freeze a single one!!). But, I did two fresh transfers- one with an AA blast and one with two "fair" grade blasts. With the second transfer, one of the blasts was so behind in development, if was too early to get a grade. The other embryo was BB when we got to the office, but upgraded to AB when they double checked it before putting it in the catheter. Part of me thinks they just told me it had been upgraded because I was sobbing when they told me my 16 embryos looked like crap.

    But, those fair grade blasts gave me my twin boys when my textbook perfect embryo ended on a failure. Lots of lesser quality blasts result in perfect babies. GL!!

    I cant speak to poor quality, but I will tell you I had a failed FET blast last month. My clinic doesn't grade blasts - anything that makes it is considered top quality and it still failed to implant... Moral of the story - don't count yourself out bc it's not perfect. Wishing you tons of luck :)

    I did a FET in August with what I believe was a 4CB embryo.  Everything I read indicated that there is that despite clinics grading embryos there is no evidence that "better" graded embryos actually result in successful pregnancies.  Just as many women get pregnant with lower grade embryos as do with higher grade ones.  Science just isn't advanced enough at this point to look at embryos and really know if they are "good" or "bad."  With that, I find it a little shocking that some clinics would refuse to freeze ones they felt were top grade.

    What my RE emphasized was that they have had much higher success rates with medicated cycles vs natural and with freezing via vitrification vs the older method of slow freezing embryos.

    Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
