Heterotopic Pregnancy

Friday December 12th I was pregnant with two healthy babies. Around noon I started getting terrible cramps in my left lower abdomen, low back and thigh. I thought that it was normal round ligament pain just earlier than normal due to twins. By Sunday evening the pain was so unbearable I went to the ER and had an emergency surgery. They found out I had another baby stuck in my left fallopian tube which ended up rupturing and I had a miscarriage. Luckily my ruptured tube clotted enough that I didn't bleed out in the days I waited to go. I blame myself for waiting so long. I just didn't know any better being that this was my first pregnancy. So for everyone else, please do not wait if you are in pain. It's better to be safe and make sure you and your baby/babies are healthy.

    Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry for the loss of your babies and am glad you are ok. Thoughts and prayers for you while you recover.

    Unexplained IF, 3 rounds clomid= BFN, IUI+femara 2/14 = BFN, IVF 5/14 = BFP!  MMC 7/14.  FET 10/31/14= BFP!!!  2 gestational sacs, one baby with a heartbeat.  Praying for our little bean sprout!
