  So I'm meeting with my boss in a few minutes to tell her that I'm leaving...

  
  

  I do like where I am now, but I need a change. I felt like I would never get promoted (money is tight here) and so I applied for a position within a different section of my agency. Then I magically got promoted... So it's a lateral move, but a much needed one. 

  
  

  They called me a couple weeks ago for an interview. Then a second interview. Then I got the offer last night. And i can telework full time, and B will be going to day care full time. So life will get a bit easier. There's increased travel, but since B will be at daycare full time, it won't be nearly as difficult to travel when I need to.

  I am officially sick now.  I am definetly not feeling well. I called my doctor this morning to get a prescription for my sinus infection.  She wants to see me first so I will be heading in this afternoon! Damn cold so close to Christmas.   Congrats @stephcarter! Good luck with the new position.

  I need a job...
  
  My cousin called me yesterday to tell me she got a job... At 7.5 months pregnant. Yeah. They called her last week for the interview and she did let them know she was pregnant (it's pretty obvious), they said they would still do the interview Friday and then she got offered the job yesterday. She doesn't start until January and then has her baby in mid-February. I'm pretty surprised they offered it to her honestly (I just didn't think that really happens), but I'm happy for her since she wants to work and has been out if work for 18 months. But I'm jealous.
  
  Annnd now H is guilting me about why I can't get a job. Ummmm... Because it sucks here, that's why. And she has a master's. I've been out of work for almost 3 years and am stale despite trying to get a grad certificate. I have that I'm working on that on my resume and it's done nothing.

  DH decided it was a good idea to throw his shoes down on to our laminate floor from the stairs, very loudly. Annnnnd he woke up B.
