~~~ Half-Ass ~~~
Ladies, ladies, ladies!  We have officially kicked half of the ass of this month.  Woo-hoo!  And according to the scale this morning, I have lost half of my baby weight!  Only took me 7 months... grr.  But I will take a page out of @theultimatesak's book, and I will look on the positive side.  I am halfway back to my skinny jeans!
Let's keep it up the second half of the month.  This will be the hard part, with the holidays coming up.  But I know we can do it!!!  And since it's the halfway point... let's all post one more time what challenge we are doing, and how we are doing so far.
Re: ~~~ Half-Ass ~~~
  • I am doing the push-up challenge.  I have not done a single push up on my knees yet.  I do take one break halfway through, but I finish them all without going to my knees.  Unfortunately, my shoulder has started really hurting.  It might be a struggle to make it all the way through the challenge.  Hopefully after my rest day yesterday, it will do a little better today.
  • You are all awesome.
    And I'm delighted to report that the asthma is only kicking half of my ass today.
  • Didn't work out last night, but I did clean half of the walls in the dinning room to about the the height of my toddler.  How did the walls get that dirty?  And where did this food come from?
    I am so not in the mood to kick ass, I've been up since 4am.
    And also, TJ, I found that once I stopped breastfeeding it feels like I really trimmed up.  I didn't think it would make a difference, but it has.
  • I've sort of assumed breastfeeding is holding on to some of the weight for me.  But I've been doing fertility treatments, or been pregnant or breastfeeding for the past 5 years straight.  I'm a hot mess over here.
  • I was doing the plank and squats challenges, but I got super sidetracked. I am still trying to get some concentrated physical activity every day, usually vacuuming while BW or dancing with the boys.
    I was pregnant, breastfeeding, pregnant, and then breastfeeding again.  There wasn't a break.
    I think that was also the reason I lost weight in the first trimester of my second pregnancy.  I didn't realize how much fat my body was holding on to while breastfeeding.
  • Hey, I managed to do most of today's squats before N decided to have a huge toddler meltdown! Yay!
  • Just did mine. No break in between.  Yay!
  • I'm doing the plank challenge. Did my 120 second plank tonight. It was pretty hard.
  • I did mine right before bed.
  • I haven't been getting on TB much lately. Anytime I actually get on the computer/tablet, I end up needing to shop for last minute xmas gifts. But I've been mostly keeping up, except for Sunday. I'm doing the plank challenge, and I'm not getting through those 120s planks without a brief break in the middle right now. Tomorrow I'm supposed to do 150.
  • @flummadiddle85 For "breaks," try bending at the waist and sticking your butt up in the air for a few seconds.  Or try bending alternate knees (not putting them on the ground, but like jogging in place.)  They might help you get through without having to actually stop.
    You're doing great!  Keep up the good work.
