Gallstones from pregnancy

So I have been sick for two weeks. Had tons of tests done. Come to find out after seeing a specialist today that it is probably gallstones, which apparently is very common in the first year pp, which usually requires gallbladder surgery. Anyone have this issue besides me or have had it? What is the recovery like?
