Christmas gifts for LO

I didn't see a thread on this topic but is anyone getting Christmas gifts for the LO? I started doing a little shopping. So far we have bought him a projector that plays soothing sounds, lullabies and has a nightlight. We also got little wristbands that jingle. We are planning to get him a few more things.

This is baby #2 for us, so we already have tons of toys. Our first is a boy, this one is a girl.

She's not getting much from us:
- A couple 'girly' diapers (we cloth diaper, she's getting DS's hand-me-downs, so I wanted to have a couple girly ones amongst the boy & neutral colors)
- A toy butterfly that plays music when you push it
- A Wubbanub
- A pink rattle
- A "Supergirl" onesie, because my dad passed away this summer and was a huge Superman fan, and we he was so excited about having a new granddaughter. Not planned, but saw it at Target yesterday and had to get it.

We did a few outfits, a toy car, a teether, and an activity triangle toy. Then we did some combined gifts with DS1- some family board games and 2 Disney movies to add to our collection.

She doesn't really need anything and N isn't old enough to understand that Santa didn't bring anything. So we got her a copies things: her Christmas Eve package (pjs & Christmas movie), a couple outfits and a butterfly toy.

We got ours some puzzles for when he's older, a mirror for the car, and some hanging down toys for his car seat. We have an 8 year old who still believes in Santa so from Santa we got him one of the exersaucer for when he's older.

We got LO a few things; vitamin d drops, a cool rattle ball toy, two sleepers, a mommy hook and several books. DH also said he was going to Toys R' Us to pick out some things. I'm concerned.

We are really tight on money right now so we are only getting him something small, a couple story books to start a library do we can read to him.

Well apparently MIL bought him like 20 presents so I don't think he needs much from us! Like @smboswell1‌ said, I buy him stuff all the time and so he really doesn't need much. I'm sure we'll pick something out though.

We wouldn't be getting William anything either except that my four year old niece will be here and we figured it would be easier to buy something than come up with a reason why Santa didn't bring him anything. Plus, we found a 25% off sale on exersaucers, so that's Santa's gift even though he can't use it right away. We'll also fill a stocking with things we need for him, like baby wipes. He's the first grandson on my side and the first grandchild on SO's side, so he'll get more than enough gifts from everyone else.

LO is getting a wubbanub, clothes and books from DH and I. She is getting a swing from my MIL and a humidifier from my mom plus other little cutesy things from them as well.

From H and I he is getting a snowsuit cause they go for daily walks outside at daycare (he's starting in mid-Feb), a little motorcycle that H loved but he won't be able to use til he's like 2, and maybe a stuffed animal or wubbanub. I know that my mom went a little nuts getting toys too!

Since we have older kids who would definitely notice if she didn't get anything, DD3 will be getting gifts, but it's mostly just things that will be shared amongst the kids (like books) or candy for her stocking (that will really just be a treat for DH and I).

When DS was a newborn (he was just shy of three months at his first Christmas), we didn't even have a tree. We went to my parents' house to celebrate, so we just didn't see the point, and I don't recall what presents we may have given him, although I do know that my mom went kind of crazy, but that's normal for her.

Santa is bring an Exersaucer so that down the line she can use it.

We're giving her some toys and books.

DH couldn't not have gifts for her and he is insisting that Santa brings her something. She is an only child so she wouldn't have known but I figure this wasn't worth a battle and we used gift cards for everything.

We have a very observant 2yr old so DD will be getting presents too.

Toy wise she is getting a floor mirror for tummy time, a Sophie teether, some soft rubber stacking blocks, and hanging rings for the jumparoo.

Clothes wise she is getting an OSU onesie and red/grey baby legs, a Steelers onesie and yellow/black baby legs, some hair bows, and socks.

We got B a wubbanub, a toy that hangs from car seat, and maybe we will get him a couple other small things but really between both sets of grandparents he will have plenty! My parents bought him a TON of clothes and a jumper roo for later.

We are getting our little girl a tummy time mat, but I also wanted to get her something meaningful, so I bought her a bracelet charm with november's birthstone. I'd like to try and keep buying her charms every year, and get her the bracelet fown the road (maybe when she's 10or so?)
