Nasty poo rash

My poor girl is still having nasty poops and she has developed a bad rash. She hardly ever gets diaper rash and when she does it's always very mild and we use the Burt's Bees diaper ointment and it clears right up. I'm not sure how to best tackle this. What would you use while they are still having nasty poop and sometimes full blown diarrhea? I have the option of using disposable inserts so it doesn't have to be cloth safe.

    A good barrier. Grandma els or waxalene. And baking soda baths. And changing a lot.

    I use Boudreauxs with sposies or a liner. And baking soda baths are the best thing you can do.

    Waxalene is often in regular drug stores. Grandma els you would probably have to order.

    Thank you everyone! I gave her a baking soda bath last night and it's improved this morning! I ordered Grandma El's from Target. I'm going to try using the BB multipurpose ointment in the meantime. Hopefully this part of the virus will resolve soon. Poor little bum. :(

    FYI, I use Grandma El's all the time, and I have found that it's safe for BG 4.0s and Blueberry AIO Delux Pockets. (At least, it doesn't cause repelling and I haven't noticed any other problems.) If you have any of those, no need to worry about a liner for them. I can vouch that it will cause Kawaii GNHW and HD2s to repel, though. 

    I hope your LO's bottom feels better soon!

    I use gdiapers with prefolds, gcloth inserts (microfiber and hemp) and cbi. Is it safe with all of those?
