  • This could be your body saying it is time for baby to arrive. You should go to the hospital and get checked to make sure you aren't having the baby already.

    It's normal.

So is my pulled round ligament from coughing an insane amt. Pregnancy makes your body do weird things like leak from the nipples.

Invest in Some breast pads, clean up the crustiness, keep it clean and you'll be fine.

    This is sarcasm, right??

    I REALLY hope so.

So do I!!! Pushing a baby out of a nipple would suck!!
Ok, I just busted out laughing! Seriously, dying here! =))

I google imaged searched 'baby out of a nipple' just to see what came up.. yep.  Not doing that again. My attempt for a funny pic has put me off dinner temporarily.

    Damn...made me look....

I didn't know inverted nipples were a thing, but thanks to google I do.  Sorry to anyone here that has them.  That must suck.
  • Are we for reals here...? Come on people. Use your common sense once!
  • Again..... Seeing how you mentioned TMI, this would have fit nicely in our TMI thread a few posts down OP. :-w

  • The rude comments are uncalled for. Seriously? The fluid leaking at this point means a good sign of successful breast feeding. And it's totally normal.

Actually, no. I leak colostrum during pregnancy, and am unable to successfully breast feed for a variety of physiological reasons.

It would be nice if this were true, but it's just not, and it could really bum someone out to have this said to them, to later find out they are unable to nurse. Think before you spread misinformation.
This. Same thing with me. I leak colostrum as well and am unable to breastfeed. You should watch what you say, unless its 100% factual. As PP stated, this could seriously bum some women out.

  • SharkFarts! I leaked with both of my previous pregnancies and could not ever successfully breastfeed my DD regardless of how much I tried. I took multiple classes and everything. I ended up being a strict pumper with her because I still wanted her to have the benefits.
  • @jamiesc58‌ I think you misread what @SharkFarts‌ was saying. She said she NEVER leaked and that she WAS SUCCESSFUL at breast feeding. I think you were saying the exact opposite.
  • mrsalvidrez I didn't clarify very well. I was agreeing with her comment "Leaking is NOT an indication of how successful you will be at breastfeeding or at how good your milk production will be."
  • I started leaking at 14 weeks.

I didn't experience it that early, but every person's body is different. It might hit some women earlier than others and some later or not at all
If you're still concerned, ask at your next dr visit.

    Good luck!
