I'm 39weeks & 2days pregnant. I had my 39week appointment today and she said I am 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. After my appointment I went to target and I used the restroom there and when I wiped it was blood, not like bright red but a darkish red kinda brown and there was some kind of white stuff in the toilet so I'm guessing it was my mucus plug & hours later I'm still spotting that reddish brown color, is that mormal? How long do you think until labor begins?

We have no clue! Was having bad contractions last nite and went in to LD and they checked me and said I was 1 1/2 an he later I was 2 and then they sent me home and I had a doc appt today and I am 2 1/2 the doc said almost 3. He said she will be here by the end of the wk. since I am changing so quick. Everyone is different so good luck!!

This just shows how immature people can be. These forums are for people that are just wondering and wanting people's opinions and their stories. Most likely if your on this app your a grown women or a mom/mom to be. Why are there so many of you "trolling". Seriously, grow up. This is not a place for all that dumb and unuseful information. Just to throw some cents into this, I have had 2 cervix checks, the same happened twice. Im still pregnant and not having any contractions. But I also asked my Dr. and he said some bleeding is normal.
However I do agree with the women saying this is not something to ask them, but to ask your dr. Also i love @Hufflepuff42‌ s paragraph.

Here's an answer/story from my own experience, just like you asked for. I've been dilated for ever, no labor. Lost MP a long time ago, no labor. I've had contractions FOR EVER, no labor. A doctor put their finger up into your cervix, that causes spotting. Said Dr looked into your vagina and TOUCHED your cervix, he couldn't tell you. No one can give you even a clue. It would be a waste of your and their time to even give you a prediction.

Oh see I was completely unaware of what this app was for. Here I thought it was for casual anonymous socializing and advertisement sales....whole time it was for anonymous medical diagnose and voodoo prediction of when you will go into labour. Who knew

OH ALSO YOU WANT ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE? I am also still pregnant and I ask my doctor what she thinks.

For the last time about this being an app:

I have an app that lets me go in and check my bank balance, transfer money, or even deposit checks. But Wells Fargo is not an app. It is a bank. A bank! A bank that has an app that provides access to BANK info and tools. But you would sound like a reeeaall dumb dumb if you referred to Wells Fargo as just some app on your phone. Because it is a bank.

The Bump is not an app. It has an app that allows access to certain Bump related info and tools. But it has an app. Doesn't make it an app.

My ob said to expect spotting after my first cervical check. Also you can lose pieces of your plug so only your ob could check to see if you have lost your plug.
