DS has decided that 1am is the perfect time to share the joy of the letter "M" with me and his dad. I love that he has started saying the M sound, and is that much closer to "mama" but I really don't need to hear it from 1am - 3am. So Tired.....
Aug' 14 July siggy challenge - Motivational Speaking For Moms
I just keep thinking about how one day, DH and I will go on a vacation to Mexico, or Aruba, anywhere tropical really....and we will eat, drink, and SLEEP!!! This is in my future. I don't know how near or far, but it WILL happen.

Aug' 14 July siggy challenge - Motivational Speaking For Moms
Even on the nights when LO decides to sleep longer than 2 hours between feeds (thought it is 1 hour lately), DS1 has been waking up in the MOTN screaming in his sleep. Last night he was yelling for his milkshake. Some nights he stays asleep and some nights I have to comfort him back to sleep. Both my children hate me.
I'm tired because H usually helps with the MOTN feed/burp/change but I let him off since he is more sick than I am. Kid was not going back to sleep easily last night.
Ug! 48 hours puking myself, compiled with 1 healthy 7yr old bouncing off the walls, a 3 month old who wants to nurse all day, and a puking toddler who is whining and crying... Zzzzzzzzz.
Up at 5:30 wvery morning and home by 5 in the evenings to cook do a load of laundry bottles and dishes. Then to wrap presents as they come in and grade papers. Between holiday preparations at school church and home and switching positions mid year and little one I am looking forward to two weeks off for Christmas. I seriously fell asleep while driving twice last week. Little one slept through the night for the first time in three weeks last night and so did I. Praying for another nights rest
Ugggh I hate staying up for no other reason than to get the last pump of the night in!!

08/14: Our little miracle has FINALLY arrived - 3 years after we started trying!
I think my little guy needs more Grandma time soon. MIL had DS overnight on Friday night (and hooray for the best night's sleep I've had since two nights before he was born!), but since then we've had DH's "weekend" which always throws off our routine and the kid's sleep has been all over the place lately. I don't know if it's the dreaded sleep regression or if it's just too cold in our bedroom, but he's had several nights where he won't sleep anywhere but in our bed.
Yesterday I was tired enough that I was seriously tempted to spike my coffee with some Red Bull. At least I only have three more days of work before I have two weeks off for Christmas.
LO has been sleeping through the night on and off, but I am still exhausted...I think it is the lack of consistent sleep. I also think that all the mom stuff is just way more exhausting than life before!
Re: Who's Tired?
This was at the top of my Christmas wish list this year! Doubt it will happen but a girl can dream right!
Yep. I could use more than a nap.
