In the never ending list of gifts ... whatcha got planned for a teachers gift, if you're doing one? A friend who's DD goes to the same nursery as my DD and I are going to do a gift basket for all the teachers (about 7-8 of them) but we both feel the need to give one extra something just for the teacher who mainly takes care of our girls. I guess I could do a scented candle?
I'm also a former teacher and I received soooo many candles and lotions I ended up giving some away. Giftcards are always nice or something for the classroom too. I liked nice food gifts too ( choc covered pretzels for example )
I'm very specific with scents I like, so I really don't enjoy getting lotion or candles. I know gift cards aren't personal, but for me anyway, they are preferred. The personal touch can come in with a nice note or card.
I'm thinking either a candle that says "thank you for shining your light into my life" or a gift card to rent a movie with a Cooke of bags of popcorn and maybe some got chocolate..... I don't have much to spend either so a gift card wouldn't do any good except to our local movie rental place because a movie rental it's about $2.
I think I have decided bottles of champagne. Everyone gets gift cards and I was planning spending about $10 per teach anyway....Im just gonna hit up costco liquor store and get a case of inexpensive champagne and put a bow on each one. Done
I ended up buying a neck wrap for her. I have a couple of them and I love them. They are so nice to warm up and wrap around your neck or cold feet in the winter time
