Hi ladies, I return to work in 3 weeks after ebf'ing for the last 6 with Lil Noob, and will be pumping at the office during the day with my Freestyle. I'm pumping in the morning while baby eats on the other side, to get body used to the pump and get an emergency backup stash. Also, I take More Milk Plus as needed with supply dips, and eat oatmeal daily.
What other tips & suggestions can you give me for when I return to work?
I appreciate all your help a ton and look forward to spending time with this board, thank you!
Re: Tips For Pumping at Return To Work?
Never miss a pump session. It's a slippery slope.
As PP mentioned, NEVER skip a pump session. I've been back to work for almost 3 months now (since DS was 6 weeks old). You get into a routine, and break-down/set-up get easier and faster, and you find a groove.
Dont give up within the first couple weeks because its hard - it will become more part of your day and easier. I find massaging my breasts speeds the process up as well.

What everyone else said... plus get a hands free bra or something like that. I lasted about 2 weeks before I was going crazy holding the pump plus you can massage easier

Then just commit. For me that means pumping in the car and taking conference calls while pumping etc.
