2ww & changes at work

I have officially entered the 2ww. My temp spiked this morning. DH and I have been fighting a bit over the holidays and family plans (his can never seem to make plans without changing them) so we didn't get to have sex last night or Sunday night so we are probably out. Fingers are still crossed.

Yesterday I also found out that major changes will be coming to my department next school year. I teach middle school English. We have always had two classes (reading and language arts). Math has been clamoring for more time, so to make all the periods longer we are being combined into 1 class and we lose about 33 minutes a day with our students. In addition to that some of us might be co-teaching. I didn't want to let work know that DH and I were heading towards IVF again, but I know I won't be able to deal with IVF process, a new curriculum and co-teaching. I will probably have a conversation with my principal soon. I will do what I can to keep my job but I want him to know that I may not be able to handle much more next year.

Doesn't it suck when work complicates the already complicated world of IF? I really feel for you. I just finished an IVF cycle and struggled with what to tell work. Sadly at the end of the day, I didn't tell them anything b/c my nasty team lead would probably view this as a choice I am making and not a medical necessity (she sucks and has ZERO work life balance)..... good luck - I hope your principal is more understanding

I wouldn't say anything about your ivf until you are a month out. There are big shakeups to come with the new admin in mass. And you don't want to be caught with no insurance and the stress of no job. Good luck.
