Re: ♡♡♡April Mommas Check in 12/15♡♡♡

  • My update: I am experiencing the weirdest start to af. More than spotting less than flow. I am on my last day off before Christmas. That's right 9 days straight 81+ hours in my future but I will have 5 days off at the end. with the failed iui I should be seeing my RE during this cycle to discuss my options. I am not ready to go into huge debt for a 20% maybe. I am not a gambler and I have put my poor broken body through alot this year. I am just tired.

I have started to refocus my attention to the things that make me happy, hence the QOTW. I love my garden and next year I am planning on doing the front yard. Right now it is really a patch of grass that I hate to mow and a super tiny porch that doesn't protect from slight side rain when trying to get into the house(this is important in Oregon). I am trying to figure out how to make a beautiful edible front garden that doesn't look like a farm.

  • Thanks for the check in @rubysi. I have to admit I was super shocked I won anything at all, much less biggest heart. I had some stiff competition from some amazing ladies!!

We are starting our second Natural cycle. We will prolly be doing a lot more natural cycles as we are having some financial issues on top of other things. H is really hoping we can get back to us, which I am not sure where that will leave us. I am in a much better head space than I was last week, which is a nice relief.

    **Children mentioned, not mine**

This weekend was pretty hard, however. My sister was cleaning out my nieces' clothes and my step mom asked me if I wanted any of them. She offered to put some back for me. It broke my heart b/c part of me wonders if I will ever have a baby to put them on. She was super sweet about how she asked me and all of that stuff, but it still hurt like the dickens.

QOTW: My dog makes me happy. I had almost forgotten how they can turn a bad day around. Also, I love hanging with my H. He can take the worst day I have ever had and turn it around. He always knows how to make me laugh.

((Hugs)) @rubysi. You know I am here if you need anything.

I am glad you are getting to a better head space. Dogs are pretty awesome, I love they don't care what you have just that you are there. The goofy smiles help too. ((Hugs))

  • @crimpgirl Hot yoga! Way to go lady! I am a little leery of it, mostly cause I don't like to be hot. I am glad y'all are NTNP, try to take the time to enjoy being with each other. I know that is easier said than done. ((Hugs)) hun. Glad you are in a good head space, you are ahead of a lot of us this time of year :)

My doctor didn't need to see me after af came, so I assume tests came back ok. I should call and ask, but I'm purposely avoiding doing it. We're ntnp finally :) It feels like we're starting to move forward. I'm just enjoying this not pregnant time and I've been drinking and doing hot yoga which I didn't so last time. Slowly increasing my exercise. So many things make me happy, but right now my bikram yoga studio is feeling really good. I've never gone this much and I'm starting to get to know people. It felt good to finish the challenge. They're also having a fun little 12 postures of Christmas Instagram game I've been doing. It is just a warm safe space for me right now, and I am grateful
I have always wanted to do hot yoga but I have a little fear I might throw up, and I have no idea why I have come to this conclusion. You have a healthy way to keep yourself happy.
