  • Nope, not really. Giving birth is the only thing I know of that's gets rid of this pain :)

  • Ice packs have worked for me, it doesn't eliminate the pain/discomfort, but it definitely makes it ease up and makes it more manageable.

  • I agree w the ice packs. It works for me.
  • I have PGP and Restless Legs. The only thing that seems to work is that ice therapy stuff (I'm sure ice will do the same thing). Doctor says the only thing to solve it is birth. We just have to hang in there for 2 more months!

  • Haha thanks ladies I will try ice packs!
  • It can be varicose veins in your lady region (like hemorrhoids for your bits). A support belt can help by relieving the pressure. Tucks/witch hazel can reduce swelling. Sitting down and resting on your side may help. Ask your doctor or midwife.

Sheepish question. Where are you guys sticking said ice packs? Feel free to flame me but I'm genuinely confused. Do you just stick it in your panties? Does that reach far enough to get rid of the pain?
You don't want the ice pack on direct skin and it gets pretty painful pretty fast if you DO have ice on your vagina for a prolonged period of time (lesson learned in my younger, feistier days ;) ) so I wrap the ice pack in a thin dish towel, put on a pair of pajama pants (usually yoga pants) and I sit on it so I have a barrier. Helps get the swelling down after sex, too! It's glorious :x
