Period not here. POAS and it's BFN. Update Finally my period :)

My cycles have basically been 26 days the last few months.

Today is day 28. POAS and it's negative. I assume I'll get AF soonish.

So presumably I ovulated later than I have been recently.

We had sex on day 14, and a few other times before that, but not after that because DH was sick. I thought I ovulated on day 17 (based only on CM because I was being slack at temping)

So it's still possible I'm pregnant (and yes I am analysing every pregnancy symptom going) but it's not really likely.

I'm just ticked that the first month TTC, my body decides to do something unexpected. Grrr.

Update: Finally on day 31 my period. So upwards and onwards at last! Thanks for listening to my crazy

Finger crossed. I'm in a similar boat, although I've been TTC for about 4 months. AF is late, still testing BFN and now I think I may have ovulated later as well. Sigh.

I feel your frustration! My husband and I were pretty good about doing the deed the week I thought I was ovulating but stopped after and haven't been super motivated to pick it back up in the week following. I'm crossing my fingers that I wasn't wrong about when I ovulated because if so we blew it. I really need to start charting and temping but I'm so lazy I haven't started that yet. I have just been having pretty regular 26 day cycles like you and figure that's good enough for now. If I get a BFN again this month I think Ill break down and buy a thermometer and some OPKs

Does it make me crazy if I think the pregnancy tests (which all say negative) are wrong?

Took another one today, still negative. still no period. I feel pregnant, which I know is stupid because I know how easy it is to over analyse everything, but I feel like I did with my eldest.

Then I can't help but think that if this does end up with me being pregnant does it not showing up easily suggest anything about viability? You know with hormone levels being hard to detect?

I just hate waiting for an answer, any answer. I knew 2 week waits were bad, but extended 2 week waits are just stupid.

@KateLouise‌ extended 2ww is just cruel and unusual punishment. It's hard to stop hoping even if we know pregnancy is unlikely until we see AF. I hope you know one way or the other very soon and can stop the waiting and second guessing!

I find TTC and stay conceived to be one of the more frustrating elements of life. It is one of the areas where "hard work, diligence, wanting it enough" etc. means nothing. It is mostly out of our control. So, just try to keep it in perspective (uh, yeah, i know how that sounds

) and maybe next month will make more sense. fingers crossed for you that you don't have to worry about next month!

I know what you mean about either getting a BFP or getting on with the next cycle. I just need that new start. I hope your intuition is correct.

@hooligans4 I could go tot my Doctor, but I wouldn't be able to get in to see him before next week, and surely I'll get my period by then, having never had a cycle longer than 32 days. I'm on day 30 now.

I'm looking on the positive side, that I'd been a little concerned about my cycles being shorter than normal (26 days) and maybe this means my cycles are lengthening out. I know shorter cycles can be perfectly normal and healthy, but it just feels weird for me. I appreciate that that is me being somewhat irrational.
