Have we talked about this yet? I am finding new ways to procrastinate at work and am making a list of Christmas cookies to make. So share your favorite Christmas cookies! Bonus points for recipes.
Here's what I'm planning to make:
- Chocolate crackle cookies (made some this weekend)
- Date balls
- Caramel stuffed apple cider cookies
- Peanut butter blossoms
Re: Christmas Cookies
Mexican hot chocolate cookies are always a hit - spicy and sweet. These are more for adults than wee ones. https://www.marthastewart.com/336516/mexican-hot-chocolate-cookies
These are the best brownies and you only need a small piece!

Just grab a package of Oreo cookies smashed, mixed with one 8oz package of cream cheese. Made into balls then covered in chocolate.
I want to say that my coworker made them with bark or birch bark? Is that like a chocolate? I'm going to make some white chocolate, milk chocolate with drizzle over them.
I do a lot of cookie baking every year. I make tins and bring them as house gifts to everyone.
I usually do a few different kinds of biscotti, sesame, Anise, and then the big finish, 7-layer/rainbow cookies (these: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/rainbow-cookies-recipe.html)
I make homemade torrone, too - not a cookie, but delicious!
My mom and sister are supposed to come over and "help" Friday night. My sister will help, my mother will play with the baby. I should make a shopping list at some point.
