UPDATE:
Thank you so much every one for your positive thoughts and hugs. You got me through this day!
I almost can't believe it, but we actually got some good news! They didn't do percentiles at this scan because it was at the doctor instead of the level II at the hospital, but it looks like baby did some growing! He's measuring at 23 weeks 5 days, 4 days behind, which is exactly what he's been measuring from the start. I'm not sure if he was just a lazy bones the week of the AS or if the scan was off...or if this scan is less accurate (hope it's not that one!). Regardless, the OB was happy and seemed very relieved so I'm going to try to relax until the level II scan in 4 weeks. Today I'm pregnant, and as far as we can tell this baby is healthy and happy and is a cute little wiggle worm!
Why we're going today:
Baby is getting a growth scan today at 24 weeks as a follow-up to his AS at 20 weeks and before he gets another level II ultrasound at 28 weeks. The doctor wants to peek in and make sure the little guy is still growing and looking good. Baby was measuring pretty small at his 20 week scan (under 10th percentile across the board) and has club feet, so the doctor wants to be extra cautious and make sure we're not missing something.
DH and I aren't tall people so I'm trying not to get too nervous. However, this past weekend it occurred to me (I cannot believe this JUST occurred to me!) that the doctors' best guess at the syndrome that took our first son is Allagille's syndrome. Among other things, this syndrome affects the liver, which affects growth. I remember reading stories of other kids born with Allagille's syndrome and most of them said the only sign of difficulty in the pregnancy was that their baby measured small. This wasn't the case with my first son, but the syndrome affects each person, even if they're from the same family, differently.
Allagille's syndrome can be genetic. All of Lincoln's genetic tests so far have come back negative for Allagille's, and the doctor's believe if he did have a faulty gene it was almost certainly a random mutation, not inherited. But the rest of his genetic testing won't be complete for another 1-3 years (yep, years) so we can't be sure.
Now I'm just so incredibly nervous for the growth scan today. I've been nervous for all of them, but I've been more concerned about baby's club foot and possible neurological issues club foot is associated with. Since Allagille's syndrome is not associated with club foot, club foot is not associated with any sort of liver issues, and since our first son didn't give any warning signs of health issues before he was born, I've been putting my Allagille fears on the back burner until after birth. But suddenly today it occurred to me how terrified I'm going to be if baby isn't growing properly.
So if you have any spare baby growing thoughts to send my way I'd sure appreciate them!
Re: UPDATED: Can I be an AW about my ultrasound today and get some T&Ps? I'm sorry, I'm long winded.

It'll likely be a waiting game to find out if there are any neurological issues as well. They'll give him a good check after he's born, and in the weeks after. But he's moving around normally and I guess that's a good sign!
