Re: Feel Good Friday!
I feel good about heading home early today after my office holiday party this afternoon.
I feel good about our decision to skip Will's 25 Days of Christmas photo last night following his late pedi appointment for his 6 month check-up and shots. We will try to do two tonight to make up for it!
I feel good about the coffee I am about to drink (my kiddo is officially in a sleep regression -- more on that on Monday...)
I feel good about having a happy, healthy little boy who makes life so much better just by being here. I legitimately cannot remember life without him anymore...
So, this weekend... Saturday we are meeting my in-laws downtown for lunch and then we are going to the Macy's in Center City to see the Christmas Village on the 3rd floor of the store. Then after that, we might walk down to City Hall where they have another Christmas Village set up outside with vendors, crafts, etc. On Sunday, the objectives are to go to the grocery store, clean up the house a bit, buy some stocking stuffers for my wife, and hopefully relax/rest a bit. Sunday is our first non-scheduled day in weeks, and I literally can't wait.

I feel good that my wife is off for the next 5 days and my MIL is coming this weekend. It's a good opportunity for me to get a little baby-free time, and I also get to see my wife a lot more than usual. And we are steaming lobsters for my MIL.

I feel good about where my family is at right now and where we are going this next year.
I feel good that I will have an entire week off of work over the holidays.
I feel good that this weekend has so much goodness planned, and that S and I are BOTH excited about everything we are going to do (typically one is excited and one is dreading it).
I feel good that I went to Target yesterday to shop for S's birthday (Sunday) and I filled my cart with little goodies that I know she'll appreciate. Who doesn't want new socks? And The Lego Movie? Yes please.
I feel good that it is "Comfy Sweater Day" today at daycare. I mean seriously people ...

I feel good that the event we catered went really well yesterday - despite the "storm of the decade" here in Northern California - and some last minute event location changes that happened due to flooding.
I feel good about having my wife home for another week.
I feel good about making progress in becoming a WAHM.
This weekend I'm working another event on Saturday afternoon/evening. Sunday we're likely going to pick out our tree. I just received my ornaments in the mail and looooove them!!!! Thanks secret elf!!! :-). This weekend
I'd like to get the lights hung and Christmas decorations up. If the rain lets up we might even get our tree today.
Sunday we'll also get together with a friend. Monday we'll meet EV's grandparents & aunt in the city before I go get my hair cut by our known donor. Yes - I think Kaden's love of hair is maybe genetically pre-dispositioned ;-)
I feel good that I feel good...literally. I'm over my sickness and today and yesterday I have felt just wonderful. Better and with more energy than I have in a while.
Tomorrow we are getting our tree and then C has to work so I will decorate it. Other than that, not much planned. Probably some Christmas shopping I imagine.

I feel good that I might get to leave the house today for the first time, other than a pharmacy run, since Saturday!
I feel good that our super cute Christmas cards are in the mail!
This weekend I hope to rejoin the human race. We have our childbirth education class reunion tomorrow and I'm supposed to make name tags, a savory appetizer and bring coffee...We'll see how all that unfolds but I'm hoping we're all well enough to go. It's been so long due to Penny Sim kins schedule -she actually attends every class reunion for the classes she teaches!! It'll be fun to see her. We've made great friends with two couples from the class, so seeing the others will be fun.
My bff who splits her residence between here and Chicago is home as of yesterday after 6 weeks in Chi town, so she's probably coming over for football and Simone time on Sunday. Otherwise we'd had a busy week this week, so I'm working to reschedule all the things I had to cancel.
Happy Friday!
